Computer Tip 1 : Blue Screen & Installation Window Vista

Last month, I bought a new notbook. I installed a tons of programs; bit downloader, music composers, music synthesizers. Once blue screen happened and disapeared. I think maybe because I didn't close it for a few days. I felt happy for 15 days and then I faced with Blue Screen everytimes I logined to my computer. Tons of STOP: code that made any senses with a new one. What's cause?

1. Bit?

2. music programs

3. I've just scaned virus and after that the blue screen was happened. --> I think scan virus delete some vital files.

So I installed Window Vista again but the problem was unsolved. The blue screen sometimes happened when I installed. I tried this 3 times and then was able to finish installation. But !!! the problem existed. TT_TT

I gave up.

One idea popped up to my head. Maybe it was because of Hardware; RAM, for sure. Then I opened case and tried to reinstall RAMs again.

I tried to turn on my notebook but nothing on screen. Oh, WTF. The more I fixed, the more problem I got. SHITTTTT.

I asked my friends and he told me that maybe RAMs were not fit.

I checked again and found that they were not fit like him said. Solved 1 but the root cause still not find. I decided to send it to the support center.

1 days left. I got a call to receive it back. And the Technical supporter said that he changed RAM. It ended of its life.

 I could use it properly. BUT my job was not finished. Window.old.000 and Window.old still made me bother me. They consumed ~12 GB. Tried to delete using shifte+del but not work. Tried to use command line on dos.

# del --> not work

tried to take own and then del.

#takeown /f c:\window.old --> got error message that I was already owner. so it was not work.

I googled and then found that using Disk Cleanup on System Tools of Accessories. It worked!!!

You can find how to via this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933212.

One thing, you can format drive while install window vista; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9ehGfaOHSM.

Next action, I have to install neccessary program again.
